Dovecote Nursery is a premium British nursery in Dubai for children aged 12 months to 3 years. We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage, or EYFS, creating a safe, happy and stimulating environment where children can play, explore and develop at their own pace.
The early years are an important time in every child’s development. At Dovecote, children are given the security, individual attention and encouragement they need to become increasingly confident, independent and ready for the next stage of their education.
Our approach begins with knowing each child well. We take time to understand their interests, needs and stage of development, combining carefully planned experiences with opportunities to make choices, explore independently and learn through play.
Children develop across all 7 areas of the EYFS through active, purposeful experiences indoors and outdoors. They are encouraged to communicate, create, solve problems, make friends, take turns and discover what they can do for themselves, building strong foundations for future learning.
Kindness is part of everyday life at Dovecote. Through sharing, helping, listening and including others, children begin to understand how to care for the people and world around them.
We also work closely with parents, recognising that starting nursery is a significant step for both you and your child. Through familiarity, consistency and open communication, we aim to make that transition feel reassuring and positive, while giving every child the time and support they need to settle and flourish.
