Staying connected
We want parents and carers to feel welcome and involved in their child’s time at Dovecote. Our team is always happy to speak with families and provide opportunities to discuss their child’s development, progress and wellbeing.
Regular communication is also shared through our nursery app, giving families an insight into their child’s experiences during the day. Parents can receive updates, photographs and videos of activities and can use the messaging facility to communicate directly with their child’s teacher.
We also encourage parents to share anything that may help us better understand and care for their child. Keeping us informed about your child’s needs, routines, medical information, dietary requirements and any changes at home helps us provide the most appropriate support.
Using Showbie
Showbie is our nursery app for staying connected with your child’s experiences at Dovecote. Through Showbie, parents can receive updates from the nursery, see photographs and videos, and communicate with their child’s teacher.
You can access Showbie through the app on an iOS device or through the web app using a web browser.
