2019 marked an important new chapter for Dovecote Nursery as it moved from its former Jumeirah location to the campus then known as Foremarke School Dubai, now Repton Al Barsha.

The move brought Dovecote into closer proximity with the wider Repton family and created new opportunities for children, teachers and families to become familiar with the school community around them.

For children aged 1 to 3, Dovecote continued to follow the Early Years Foundation Stage, with play, exploration and individual development at the centre of nursery life.

Being located within the school campus also supported closer relationships between Dovecote and Early Years colleagues, creating opportunities to share expertise and help families understand what the next stage of education may look like.

While surroundings may change, the principles at the heart of Dovecote remain consistent: children should feel secure, be known as individuals and have the time and space to explore the world at their own pace.
